Open your eyes

OPEN YOUR EYES

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3 NIV).

The crises that seem impossible to survive are only an opportunity to see God’s glory be manifested. Many times, we lose our faith in the times when God wants to test our faith. The Lord wants to heal our eyes to help us see what He is seeing for our lives and the entire world.

It is during the storms that God longs to show us great and unsearchable things that we do not know. The Bible says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3 NIV).

This verse is telling us that our minds, knowledge, and intelligence is limited. It doesn’t matter if we are geniuses because we use 12% of our intelligence quotient; we still do not have enough capacity to change our spouse or to bail someone out who is unjustly imprisoned.

Most of the time we know what to do, however, we are still unable to help; which might be because God wants to do something in our place. Other times we do not know how to bring forth a business, how to free our family from the mess they’re in, or how to pay the pending debts, but God says call unto me and I will answer you and show things that are greater than your intellect, abilities and strength.

Not only does He want to show you great things, but He also wants to reveal unsearchable things you have never seen before. In our humanity, it is easy to lose our vision in the middle of the hurricanes of our life, but God is always ready to heal our eyes over and over again to help us clearly see the purpose behind every storm.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3 NIV).

Think about it:

In what area of your life do you need to heal your eyes to see what God sees?
What storm are you going though that can be an opportunity to see God’s glory?
