We shouldn’t ask humans, because they are limited, but God who can do all things and knows everything about our lives.
We don’t find long-term help in an expert speaker who gives self-help talks and temporarily motivates us. We find long-term help in God, who provides eternal hope.
And I will answer you…
If you call 911, you will be answered by a dispatcher who will ask what your situation is. But, if you call out to God, He will answer you Himself already knowing what you need because He knows everything, including the pain that you may be going through right now.
And I will show you…
God will make sure that you and I learn something in the midst of our suffering. Let’s take advantage of difficulties.
Great and wonderful things which you do not know. (Jer. 33:3)
There are great things God has in mind for you, and even if you can’t see them yet, He will show them to you when you cry out to Him, place your trust in Him, and dedicate daily time to speak to Him.
Think about it:
Who have you called for help in difficult moments?
What lesson has God taught you after crying out to Him?
In what past situations have you cried out to God and you saw Him answer your prayer?
