Don’t leave the important things for tomorrow

DON’T LEAVE THE IMPORTANT THINGS FOR TOMORROW

For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. (2 Cor. 6:2 NIV)

Don’t say, one of these days, I’m going to get closer to God. “One of these days” usually means no day.

Don’t say, one of these days I’ll start eating better.
God wants to bless and help you in all the areas of your life, but He needs and expects you to start acting.

Don’t leave for tomorrow what you should do today.

-Start going to a House of Peace or to church this Sunday.
– Start exercising, even if it’s five minutes today.
-Eat a little healthier today.
-Start praying at least for a few minutes today and every morning.
– Solve that situation that maintains you and your spouse bothered with one another, do it today.
– Write a paper budget to take control of your debts and start healing your financial life today.

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. (Proverbs 27:1 NIV)

Don’t leave the important things for tomorrow. START TODAY!

Think:

What have you been putting off?
What important thing do you have to start doing today?
What situation or relationship do you need to fix today?
