The father that walks with God II

THE FATHER THAT WALKS WITH GOD II

This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. (Genesis 6:9 NLT)

In the midst of a perverse generation, Noah did not get contaminated, which is why he found grace before God’s eyes and God walked with him. What did he do to achieve this?

1. He was obedient. We must be obedient, because God honors obedience. Do everything God asks you to do and don’t do anything He doesn’t ask you to do.

So Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him. (Genesis 6:22 NLT)

2. He was persistent. It is believed that Noah took around 100 to 120 years to finish the ark. Finish what you start, even through criticism, persist and don’t be discouraged. Example, a business is not built overnight. Continue to dream because God’s dreams are reachable.

3. He knew how to listen to God. It’s important to listen to God, get up early to listen to Him. The father of a family needs to listen to God to know the plans He has for his family, and then pray for his wife and children.

This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. (Genesis 6:9 NLT)

Think about it:

Do you know God’s plans for your life? Do you take time to listen to God?
What things had you left halfway done?
What has God told you to do and you haven’t done?
