WHAT SIGNS DOES COVID-19 GIVE US?
Part 3
The biggest issue is that people aren’t understanding what God is trying to do in our lives. I don’t want to leave this stage the same, without changing and being transformed.
What is God trying to do in our lives? What does God want the church to learn? We have learned two signs the last few days, but the 3rd sign is:
IT IS A SIGN OF JUDGMENT IN THE CHURCH. God is not only judging the world, but He says that the judgment must begin at home. We must wake up! “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God;”. (1 Peter4:7)
Judgment is not only for people who don’t come to church. In this pandemic the Lord is saying: “Lock yourselves in your house, but once you go out don’t go out the same.”
Why is God judging the church? In the church we may not shed blood, but the character of the people is killed, churches are divided, ministers are criticized, Apostles and Prophets are criticized, miracles are criticized,they steal from God, adulteries, lies, etc.
The church of God has become lukewarm, has lost its zeal, has become too comfortable, has stopped loving souls, they don’t pray, they have stopped reading the Bible, they don’t congregate in the church, they have materialized and they don’t have time to serve God, they have stopped being generous, etc.
Think about it:
Have you become lukewarm?
Did you change what you needed to change?
Will you come out better, the same or worse for God?
Is there something you need to ask God for forgiveness?
