And the people blessed all the men who willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.(Nehemiah 11:2)
This verse is talking about the earthly city of Jerusalem.
There were men who voluntarily offered to live in a modern and imperfect city.
How much more do I offer myself to live voluntarily in the new Jerusalem, in which there will no longer be tears, pain, or sickness; where there will be no need for sun because the glory of God illuminates it, where we will eternally enjoy the presence of Jesus Christ.
I sign up willingly!
