These promises are also mine

THESE PROMISES ARE ALSO MINE

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. (Galatians 3:29 NLT)

This day, Scripture simply reminds me that I too have access to the promises and blessings that God gave to his people Israel.
I do not need to have been born Jewish to have access, since in Christ I have access to God’s blessing that he gave to Abraham and his descendants.

And now that you belong to Christ,… God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. (Galatians 3:29 NLT)

… Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith. (Rom. 4:13 NLT)

We do not need to have been born Jews, because in Christ there is no difference.

There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28 NLT)

And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.(Galatians 3:29 NLT)

I believe that, in this life, including today, I will be blessed to be a blessing.

I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” Gen. 12:2

These promises are mine too!

Think about it:
Do you already belong to Christ?
Do you have a correct relationship with God?
Have you appropriated God’s promises for your life?
