NOT ALL THE GRAPES (PEOPLE) ARE BAD – PART 1
“But I will not destroy them all,” says the LORD. “For just as good grapes are found among a cluster of bad ones (and someone will say, ‘Don’t throw them all away—some are good!’), so I will not destroy all Israel. For I still have true servants there.”
Isaiah 65:8 (NKJV)
This verse gives us hope and a renewed perspective on people. Even though we live in a world filled with challenges and, at times, surrounded by negativity, God reminds us that not everyone is bad. Just as there are good grapes in a cluster of bad ones, there are people who reflect goodness, love, and God’s purpose in their lives.
Reflections on the “Good Grapes”
- Not All People Are Bad
Amid imperfection and sin in the world, there are always those who choose to do good. God invites us to recognize that not everything is lost and that goodness exists in many people. The choice is clear: Which group will we belong to? Choosing to be a “good grape” means living with integrity and reflecting the character of Christ. - There Is Still Hope
God has not lost hope in His creation. He sees the potential and good works of those who faithfully follow Him. As the passage says, He still has true servants who desire to serve Him and make a difference in the world. - Making a Difference
Being a “good grape” means seeking ways to positively impact our community. As part of Águilas Centro Familiar Cristiano, we work with love and dedication, serving God by serving people, showing that light still shines in the midst of darkness.
Reflect on This
- What are you doing to be a “good grape” in your family, church, and community?
- How can you contribute to strengthening hope in others through your words and actions?
- What practical steps can you take today to reflect God’s love and goodness?
