I Have Communicated It

I HAVE COMMUNICATED IT

“For the past twenty-three years… the Lord has been giving me His messages. I have faithfully passed them on to you, but you have not listened.”
Jeremiah 25:3 (NLT)

Teaching God’s Word and living according to it is a calling that all believers must embrace with faithfulness. However, it can be frustrating to see others not respond in the same way or not practice what they have been taught. Sometimes, we may wonder if it is truly worth it, but the Bible reminds us that our duty is not to change people—it is to communicate the message faithfully and model it through our lives.
1. Our Task Is to Communicate Faithfully, Not to Force Results
Jeremiah preached God’s Word for years, but many refused to listen. Still, he remained faithful to his calling. In the same way, our job is to share God’s truth without being discouraged by how others respond.
2. We Should Not Get Frustrated When Others Do Not Act Like Us
It is natural to want those around us to adopt the same spiritual habits we do, but every person has their own process. If someone does not pray, read the Bible, or serve as we do, it does not mean our teaching is in vain. God is working in every heart.
3. God Continues to Touch Hearts and Transform Lives
Even if not everyone responds immediately, some will listen and change. God’s Word has the power to transform lives, and we must trust that He will work in His perfect timing.
“Perhaps they will listen and turn from their evil ways. Then I will change my mind about the disaster I am ready to pour out on them because of their sins.”
Jeremiah 26:3 (NLT)
4. Obedience to God Brings Transformation and Restoration
When someone decides to obey God’s Word, their life begins to change. Our responsibility is to keep teaching with love and patience, trusting that God will do His work.
“But if you stop your sinning and begin to obey the Lord your God, He will change His mind about this disaster that He has announced against you.”
Jeremiah 26:13 (NLT)
5. Let Us Continue to Share the Truth with Perseverance
Teaching the Bible is a continuous process. We must not grow weary or stop but continue sharing God’s Word faithfully. In time, we will see the fruit.
“For the past twenty-three years… the Lord has been giving me His messages. I have faithfully passed them on to you, but you have not listened.”
Jeremiah 25:3 (NLT)
