It Had Walls

It Had Walls

“So the area was 875 feet on each side with a wall all around it to separate what was holy from what was common.”
Ezekiel 42:20 (NLT)

In the temple vision, God instructed that a wall be built around the sacred area. This wall was not mere architecture; it was a spiritual declaration: there are things that must be protected, and boundaries that must not be crossed. The wall separated the holy from the common.
Today, this principle remains vital in our lives. We’re not erecting physical barriers, but setting up spiritual, emotional, and personal boundaries to preserve what God has deemed valuable:

“So the area was 875 feet on each side with a wall all around it to separate what was holy from what was common.”
Ezekiel 42:20 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. Which areas of my life need a protective wall today?
  2. Have I been allowing the common to invade what God has declared holy in me?
  3. What boundary should I establish this week to protect my spiritual, emotional, or family health?
