The Same

The Same

“The king and the prince will stand helpless, weeping in despair, and the people’s hands will tremble with fear. I will bring against them the evil they have done to others, and they will receive the punishment they so richly deserve. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
Ezekiel 7:27 (NLT)

God’s justice is perfect. He not only sees our actions but also considers our intentions and how we treat others—especially when we hold influence. In this passage, God confronts the leaders of His people, not because they were unaware, but because they used their positions to cause harm. His judgment comes with a sobering statement: “I will bring against them the evil they have done to others.” It’s a clear reminder that whatever we sow, we will eventually reap. Whether we are leaders, parents, supervisors, or mentors, we must be mindful of the seeds we plant in the hearts of those around us.

“For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.”

Hebrews 6:10 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. Am I using my influence to bless or to control?
  2. Is there something I need to correct today in the way I treat others?
  3. What can I sow today in my family, team, or community that will produce healing tomorrow?
