Relevant

Relevant

In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 8:13 (NKJV)

The writer of Hebrews reminds us that God established a new covenant in Christ, and that made the old one obsolete and come to an end. This teaching not only speaks of a change in biblical history but is also a reminder for our lives: the old must be replaced with the new that God offers, because what is not renewed becomes irrelevant, expires, and disappears.

The Lord wants us to remain relevant, renewed, and ready to embrace the new that He is doing in our personal, family, ministry, and work life.

In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 8:13 (NKJV)
