Establish, Prosper, and Grow

Establish, Prosper, and Grow

Meanwhile, the people of Israel settled in the region of Goshen in Egypt. There they acquired property, and they were fruitful, and their population grew rapidly.
Genesis 47:27 (NLT)

The people of Israel experienced three steps that marked their destiny: first they established themselves in a land, then they prospered, and finally, they grew rapidly. These same principles remain valid today in personal, family, ministerial, and business life. God desires that we live lives of stability, prosperity, and growth, but each stage requires commitment, love, and faith.

The story of the people of Israel in Goshen reminds us that God honors stability, prospers commitment, and causes growth in what is well-rooted in His will. Just as Israel flourished in a foreign land, we too can flourish if we obey and remain in the place where God has established us.

Meanwhile, the people of Israel settled in the region of Goshen in Egypt. There they acquired property, and they were fruitful, and their population grew rapidly.
Genesis 47:27 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. Are you truly established in the place where God has planted you, or do you still live with your mind elsewhere?
  2. What commitments do you need to strengthen in order to see prosperity in your family, ministry, or business?
  3. What concrete steps can you take today to experience sustained growth in your life?
