New Things
And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

How encouraging it is to remember that what we live today is not the end of the story. Sin brought disorder, pain, and imperfection into our world, but God has a perfect plan: to restore and make all things new. The promise of a new heaven and a new earth fills us with hope to face life’s difficulties with faith, knowing that the best is yet to come.
- The promise of the new is certain
The one who speaks is the one seated on the throne, and He affirms that His words are “trustworthy and true.” We can be sure this promise will be fulfilled without fail. - The imperfect will not last forever
Politics, health, education, the church, and family all show signs of imperfection because of sin. But these realities are temporary; the day will come when God will put everything back in harmony. - Hope renews our strength
Knowing that all things will be made new helps us live with peace in the midst of a broken world. Hope in Christ sustains us and allows us to look toward the future with confidence, not fear. - God begins making things new today
Although the fullness of this promise will come in eternity, we can already experience its power in our lives now. Every time Christ transforms our hearts, restores a relationship, or gives us strength in trials, He is making all things new. - The end will be glorious
Our life on this earth is only part of the story. God has prepared a perfect future for those who love Him, where there will be no more tears, pain, or death. That certainty reminds us that the best is still to come.
We live in an imperfect world, but not without hope. Today we can rest in the promise that, in the end, God will make all things new and restore everything according to His perfect design.
