New Things

New Things

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”
Revelation 21:5 (NLT)

How encouraging it is to remember that what we live today is not the end of the story. Sin brought disorder, pain, and imperfection into our world, but God has a perfect plan: to restore and make all things new. The promise of a new heaven and a new earth fills us with hope to face life’s difficulties with faith, knowing that the best is yet to come.

We live in an imperfect world, but not without hope. Today we can rest in the promise that, in the end, God will make all things new and restore everything according to His perfect design.

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”
Revelation 21:5 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. What areas of your life need to experience God’s renewing power today?
  2. How can you keep your hope alive, remembering that imperfection will not last forever?
  3. What practical steps can you take to live with confidence that God is making all things new in your life?
