His Faith Grew Even Stronger

His Faith Grew Even Stronger

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous.
Romans 4:20–22 (NLT)

This passage shows us the firmness of Abraham in the face of the impossible. His faith did not weaken over time; on the contrary, it grew as he remembered who God is and what He can do. Abraham did not need to see signs before believing, but when the promises began to be fulfilled, his confidence grew even more. In the same way, when God’s people witness His power, their faith is strengthened and activated.

  • Faith is strengthened when we see God’s work
As people witnessed healings and miracles, many were moved to believe with greater conviction because they saw evidence of God’s power in action.
  • Faith is activated by hearing real testimonies
Shared testimonies open the heart and increase spiritual expectation. What God did for one, He can also do for others.
  • Faith drives immediate and courageous decisions
Ten people were baptized without planning it because faith awakened in them spontaneous obedience. When faith grows, decisions that honor God grow as well.
  • Faith leads to accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Several surrendered their lives to the Lord because they understood that He is real, near, and powerful to transform any situation.
  • Faith speaks according to the promise, not the circumstance
Just like Abraham, we are called to declare what God has said, even if we do not yet see it with our natural eyes.

Let us continue believing like Abraham—fully convinced that God fulfills what He promises. What we witnessed this Sunday was only a glimpse of what He will continue to do. Let us call things that are not as though they already were, knowing that the God who gives life to the dead is still working today.

Think About It:

  1. What promise do you need to believe like Abraham, without wavering?
  2. What recent testimony has strengthened your faith?
  3. What declaration of faith can you begin to speak today, calling what is not as though it already were?
