Those Who Go Ahead
As Jesus and the disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to the town of Bethphage on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two of them on ahead.

This passage shows us a key principle of the Kingdom: God always works with people who are willing to go one step ahead. Jesus had a clear plan, a defined purpose, and a timeline to fulfill. For this reason, He delegated a specific task to two trusted disciples. He did not send everyone; He sent some. This invites us to reflect on the kind of person we are when God entrusts something into our hands.

There will always be people who take initiative and move forward before the rest. They do not wait for everything to be perfect; they act with faith and obedience. They become catalysts for the advancement of God’s purpose. - Those who go ahead are trustworthy people
Jesus chose those He knew would complete the task. They are people others can rely on when responsibility is delegated. They do not need constant supervision because they understand responsibility and honor it. - Delegating to the right person protects the purpose
Many dreams and projects remain unfinished because they were placed in the wrong hands. Jesus had a divine timeline to fulfill. Choosing carefully whom to send was crucial so the plan could move forward without delay. - Excuses stop progress
Timidity, poor communication, lack of persistence, or negligence can sabotage a divine assignment. Those who go ahead do not return with excuses; they return with results. They understand that complete obedience requires action and courage. - Going ahead is an attitude of the heart
Being one who goes ahead is not a title; it is a disposition. It is saying to God, “Here I am, send me.” It is walking with responsibility, focus, and commitment, even when no one else is watching.
God continues to look for people who will step forward, take initiative, and respond faithfully when He delegates. Those who go ahead do not seek recognition; they seek to fulfill the mission. And through them, God moves His work forward.
