Owner
I said to the LORD, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”
Psalm 16:2 (NLT)
Recognizing God as the Owner completely changes the way we live. We stop seeing ourselves as self-sufficient and understand that our lives are under the perfect care of the One who created us. This truth produces rest, security, and gratitude, because everything good we are and have comes from Him.
- The Owner is responsible
God does not abandon what belongs to Him. He takes excellent care of what is His. Knowing that we belong to Him fills us with peace, because we are in faithful and loving hands. - The Owner is responsible to provide
As Owner, God takes care of feeding, sustaining, strengthening, and blessing our lives. He provides what is necessary for us to remain healthy, firm, and equipped to fulfill our purpose. - The Owner is responsible to protect
God protects everything that belongs to Him. His presence beside us gives us security, rest, and confidence. We do not walk alone or exposed; we live covered by His constant care. - The Owner is responsible to manage with purpose
God does not waste anything. We are not an accident or a coincidence. He manages our lives with intention and makes us fruitful for good. He places us in the right place to bear fruit at the right time and to live a life with eternal meaning.
Living with the recognition that God is the Owner frees us from control, fear, and anxiety. In His hands we find direction, joy, and the fullness of a well-guided life.

Think About It:
- What area of your life do you need to surrender again to the Lord as Owner?
- How would your level of peace change if you fully trusted His care and provision?
- In what way can you live today with gratitude, recognizing that every good thing comes from God?
