Run with Purpose

Run with Purpose

So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.
1 Corinthians 9:26 (NLT)

The Christian life is not a walk without direction, but a race with a clear destination. The apostle Paul understood that his life had an eternal purpose, and for that reason he lived with discipline, focus, and determination. God has also called us to live intentionally, not wasting our strength on what does not edify, but advancing firmly toward the purpose He has prepared for us.

God did not call you to live an empty or directionless life. He called you to run with purpose, with focus, and with faith. Every day is an opportunity to advance toward His will, growing, maturing, and fulfilling the calling He has placed in your life. Do not waste your race; run with the confidence that God walks with you and strengthens you.

So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.
1 Corinthians 9:26 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. Am I living each day with a purpose aligned with God’s will?
  2. What distractions do I need to remove to run my spiritual race with greater focus?
  3. What spiritual discipline can I strengthen today to move forward more firmly toward my purpose?
