The Right Attitude in a Connection Group

The Right Attitude in a Connection Group

Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
Romans 12:16 (NLT)

Nothing affects the dynamic of a Connection Group faster than an attitude of pride. When someone behaves as if they know everything, conversation shuts down and growth stops. A small group is not a stage to impress, but a space to learn, grow, and walk together with a humble heart before God and others.

When we attend a group with the right attitude, we set aside ego, listen more than we speak, and show genuine interest in others. In that environment, God teaches us, shapes us, and helps us grow through the lives around us.

Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
Romans 12:16 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. What attitude do you usually bring when you participate in your Connection Group?
  2. Who could you listen to more carefully and learn from this week?
  3. What habit can you change to practice greater humility and listen more attentively?
