Small to Serve, Great to Dream

Small to Serve, Great to Dream

“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,” Matthew 20:26 (NLT)

In the Kingdom of God, the path to greatness begins with service. The world teaches that to be great one must be recognized, admired, and exalted, but Jesus taught the opposite: the true leader is the one who serves. God calls us to have a humble heart to serve in the small things, while maintaining a big vision of what He can do through our life. Being small to serve does not limit our dreams; it prepares them.

God is forming something great in your life, but the process begins with service. Do not underestimate small opportunities to serve, because that is where God develops your character and strengthens your faith. Keep a humble heart to serve and a great faith to dream, knowing that God fulfills His purposes in those who are willing.

“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant,” Matthew 20:26 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. Am I willing to serve with humility, even when no one sees me?
  2. Am I being faithful in the small opportunities that God has given me?
  3. Am I allowing God to shape my character while I pursue the dreams He put in my heart?
