My People Perish for Lack of Knowledge

My People Perish for Lack of Knowledge

My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children. Hosea 4:6 NLT

Lack of spiritual knowledge is not a passive deficiency, but an active danger that eats away at the foundations of our Christian life. In the time of the prophet Hosea, the people did not suffer from a lack of rituals or ceremonies, but from a total abandonment of the understanding of who God is and what His justice demands. When we ignore biblical principles, we are exposed to making decisions that destroy us, losing the coverage and guidance that the Lord offers to those who walk in His truth.

Our relationship with God cannot be based only on fleeting emotions or mystical experiences; it must be anchored in the real knowledge of His character revealed in the Bible. Spiritual maturity is reached when we decide that knowing the Lord is our greatest treasure. Do not allow your life to crumble due to spiritual negligence. Today is the day to return to the sources of Truth, to hungrily study His Word and thus secure a present and a future under the blessing and light of His presence.

My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children. Hosea 4:6 NLT
