He brought me
Then the man brought me back to the east gateway in the outer wall of the Temple area, but it was closed. Then the man brought me through the north gateway to the front of the Temple. I looked and saw that the glory of the Lord filled the Temple of the Lord, and I fell face down on the ground. Ezekiel 44:1, 4 NLT
In the vision of the new temple, the prophet Ezekiel does not wander aimlessly or choose his own course, but is guided step by step by a divine messenger. The constant repetition of the phrase indicating how this being brought him from one place to another highlights the enormous importance of heavenly direction in our daily lives. Just as the prophet was led exactly to the right places to be able to behold the majestic glory of God, we too need to surrender our will and allow the Lord to direct each of our steps.
- Do the will of God Our greatest desire should be to do the will of God, deeply desiring that He be the one who takes us where He wants, and not where we want to go moved by our own desires.
- Seek His direction daily It is necessary to desire that God leads us and guides us repeatedly, asking Him almost every day in prayer that His Holy Spirit guides our steps and those of our family along paths without obstacles.
- Recognize His guidance in our history Reflecting on how the Lord has led us along the path of life, we can see that we have traveled through different stops, places, people, assignments, missions, and tasks, understanding that it has always been extremely important to ensure that we are in the will of God.
- Align our will to His Our constant prayer should consist of asking God to always lead and guide us, keeping our will permanently aligned with His perfect will.
- Extend this guidance to our generations We should not desire this divine direction only for ourselves, but we must pray that God also guides our spouse, our biological children, all our present and future descendants, and our spiritual children.
Walking under the direction of the Lord guarantees that we will always arrive at the correct destination. When we renounce our human need to control every detail and yield the helm to God, we discover that His routes lead us to behold His presence and live in fullness. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to be our daily guide, trusting that His plans are perfect and that each new season or assignment in our journey has an unbreakable divine purpose.

Think About It:
- Is there any project or area of your life where you are trying to go in your own direction instead of letting yourself be led by the Lord?
- Are you setting aside a moment each morning to ask the Holy Spirit to guide your steps and those of your family along paths without obstacles?
- Evaluate your current will: is it truly aligned with what pleases God, or is it being driven by personal desires?
