Let’s Take the Good News with Power

10-10 Let’s Take the Good News with Power

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Mark 16:15 NLT

In chapter 16 of the Gospel of Mark, we encounter the most glorious event in all of human history: the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The tomb is empty, death has been defeated, and the Master presents Himself alive before His followers. However, in the midst of the joy of victory, Jesus first confronts the unbelief and hardness of heart of His disciples, who doubted the testimonies of His resurrection. Immediately after restoring their faith, He gives them the great commission, entrusting them with a task that allows for no passivity or delay: to step outside the four walls to take the message of salvation to every corner of the earth, backed by the supernatural power of His Holy Spirit.

  • Recognize that we are all commissioned ministers The command to go and preach was not given solely to a select group of leaders or pastors, but to everyone who has experienced the grace of Christ. In the place where God has positioned you, whether at your job, in your company, at the university, or in your neighborhood, you carry a divine assignment; every believer is an ambassador of the good news called to enrich and illuminate their daily environment.
  • Share the testimony of what God has done You do not need to have advanced theological degrees or master complex arguments to be a blessing to others. Preaching the Good News begins by simply and sincerely telling your own story: how the Lord found you, from what chains He freed you, and the peace that rules your home today. An authentic testimony has the power to tear down unbelief and open the hearts of those around you.
  • Act with a deep sense of urgency In a society overwhelmed by anxiety, family breakdown, and hopelessness, the message of the Gospel is the only effective medicine for the soul. We cannot sit idly by while so many people around us walk aimlessly and in darkness; we must work as a team and with diligence to rescue as many lives as possible in the shortest amount of time.
  • Walk confidently in God’s backing and power The Lord promised that miraculous signs would accompany those who believe: healings, deliverance from bondages, and spiritual authority over the forces of evil. When we obey the command to move forward and proclaim His truth, we do not go in our limited human strength, but the Lord Himself works together with us, confirming His Word with miracles and wonders.

Do not allow fear, comfort, or indifference to silence the voice of faith that God has placed within you. Arise with renewed courage, shake off passivity, and prepare to be that instrument that brings hope and comfort to the brokenhearted. When you joyfully take on the mission of sharing Christ through your words, your acts of love, and your constant service, you experience the joy of seeing families transformed and God’s favor backing every step of your way.

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Mark 16:15 NLT

Think About It:
Who in your circle of influence (family, friends, or coworkers) do you need to share the hope of Christ with today?
Are you trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit to pray for others and act with faith in your daily life?
Take a moment of prayer to ask the Lord to renew your evangelistic passion and use you boldly to expand His Kingdom this week.
