ALIVE AND POWERFUL

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12 NLT

If you are a negative person or someone who constantly loses the excitement in life, then I am sure I know something about you. I guarantee you are not reading the Bible on a regular basis.
The Bible is not just another best seller. It’s not a historical encyclopedia nor a compilation of experiments and scientific data. The Bible is not just words! It’s life!

Let’s see some benefits that can be found in it:

1. When you are down, the Bible encourages you.
2. When you feel confused, the Word shines its light and guides you (Psalm 119:105).
3. When you are indecisive, the Bible is a compass that helps you make firm decisions.
4. The Word teaches and shows you how to live with purpose (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV).
5. The Bible rebukes you. God lets you know when you are out of your purpose, and heading towards failure (2 Timothy 3:16).
6. The Bible corrects you. The Lord teaches you how to return to your purpose (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV).
7. The Word trains you. God shows you how to continue to live in success and focused (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV).

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV

For the word of God is alive and powerful… Hebrews 4:12 NLT

Think about it:

In which area of your life have you felt indecisive?
How can you make reading the Bible a habit?
