GOD DOES WANT TO “Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy” (Matthew 8:3 NIV). The Bible narrates that there was a man with leprosy who had a putrefaction in his skin, which caused him to be taken out of society, so that he…
WITHSTAND SUFFERING “And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor” (2 Timothy 2:5-6 NLT). Suffering is part of the process to achieving goals in life, for everything that is worth it will cost us. Now, what does it mean…
OFFERS THAT BRING PROBLEMS “For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world” (1 John 2:16 NLT). The world is an expert at offering us the moon and the stars,…
THE KING OF MY HEART “Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts” (1 John 5:21 NLT). DON’T BE DISCOURAGED “So please don’t lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored” (Ephesians 3:13 NLT). We should avoid being people who cause pity and instead be people who produce encouragement and faith, despite the problems we encounter. As leaders we cannot afford to drown…
