DON’T POINT FINGERS AND BLAME OTHERS “Hear the word of the Lord, O people of Israel! The Lord has brought charges against you, saying: “There is no faithfulness, no kindness, no knowledge of God in your land. You make vows and break them; you kill and steal and commit adultery. There is violence everywhere—one murder after another. That is why…
GIVE GOD CREDIT “She doesn’t realize it was I who gave her everything she has— the grain, the new wine, the olive oil; I even gave her silver and gold. But she gave all my gifts to Baal” (Hosea 2:8 NLT). Though this verse is referring to the people of Israel, I believe we can also apply…
WHAT IS PRAISE “Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise! For the Lord Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth” (Psalm 47:1-2 NLT). Maybe you have asked yourself why people sing out loud and clap during services at some churches. This has to do with…

IT IS GOOD TO SING “In that day you will sing: I will praise you, O Lord!… See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory” (Isaiah 12:1-2 NLT). I have noticed that people use music for several things….
PROTECT YOUR LEGACY “The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars in front of the Lord’s Temple, the bronze water carts, and the great bronze basin called the Sea, and they carried all the bronze away to Babylon” (2 Kings 25:13 NLT). Don’t lose your legacy. These are the things that Salomon did during his reign…
AFTER YOU DIE, WILL PEOPLE SAY YOU PUT GOD FIRST? “Never before had there been a king like Josiah, who turned to the Lord with all his heart and soul and strength, obeying all the laws of Moses. And there has never been a king like him since” (2 Kings 23:25 NLT). What will people…
