Every group

EVERY GROUP

“Each group carried out its appointed duties in the house of the Lord according to the procedures established by their ancestor Aaron in obedience to the commands of the Lord, the God of Israel” (1 Chronicles 24:9 NLT).

“Each group…” (1 Chronicles 24:19 NLT).

First, this phrase tells us about organization. In other words, there was order in the way each group worked in the temple.

Second, this teaches us that we are all important and that we all have a gift or talent we can contribute to the house of the Lord.

“… Each group carried out its appointed duties” (1 Chronicles 24:19 NLT).

The following talks about faithfulness. A person who is faithful is a person who is trustworthy, someone who will not abandon the position that was delegated to them, someone who will remain in their function and who is sure to carry out their appointed duties.

“… in obedience to the commands of the Lord…” (1 Chronicles 24:9 NLT).

When people work in order and carry out their assigned tasks, we are able to see the progress in Eagles CFC and thousands of families are benefitted because we have chosen to obey God.

“Each group carried out its appointed duties in the house of the Lord… in obedience to the commands of the Lord…” (1 Chronicles 24:9 NLT).

Think about it:

Are you truly carrying out your responsibilities at work, your church or home?
Are you obeying God’s mandates in all areas of your life? Remember that partial obedience is disobedience.
