THE SOLUTION TO FEAR
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.. (2 Timothy 1:7 NLT)
Yesterday we learned what fear was and its consequences, and today we will learn what the solution is that God left us in his Word:
SOLUTION
Apply what God has given us:
1. His supernatural power.
He gives us his grace, which is the supernatural power of God to be what we could not be humanly and to do what we could not do in our own strength
I should accept that God loves me Unconditionally. Long ago the Lord said to Israel:
“I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.. (Jeremiah. 31:3)
I must treat others with the same love with which God has treated me.
Love makes a person sacrifice his own interests for the benefit of others. This will make it easier to solve any marital, work related, or ministerial problem.
Love makes fear disappear. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.”. (1 John 4:18 NLT)
When I was a teenager, I watched a mother go over the fire to get her baby out of the bedroom of a house that caught fire. This is a perfect example of how mother’s love helped him overcome all fear.
3. Self-control or self-discipline
I must live by convictions, not emotions.
I am what God says that I am, I have what God says that I have, and I can do what God says I can do.
God says that “I can do everything in Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)

Ask God in your prayer time to dress you in His power, His love and to give you self-dominion through the Holy Spirit so that you can achieve all for which you were created for.
Think about it:
What will you do that you had not dared to do, now knowing the solution that God left us to overcome fear?
What do you think you can achieve not in your strength, but with the grace of God?
What difference does it make in your life to know how much God loves you?
