Your place is waiting for you at the King’s table

YOUR PLACE IS WAITING FOR YOU AT THE KING’S TABLE

Then Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons you have? “There is still the youngest,” Jesse replied. “But he’s out in the fields watching the sheep and goats.”“Send for him at once,” Samuel said. “We will not sit down to eat until he arrives.”. (1 Samuel 16:11 NLT)

The Lord has a table of blessings prepared for you and me.

You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.…. (Psalms 23:5).

The enemy will try to prevent you and I from having access to these blessings from God for our lives.

Many things can try to separate and distract us from our purpose in life: the coronavirus, mistakes we have made, temptations, distractions of the flesh, fame, greed for money, etc.

But the King says he will not sit the enemy in your place to eat your blessings (unless you resign).

Some may belittle you just like the case of King David, your parents may have abandoned you, someone may have abused you and made you feel like trash, but Jesus is calling you to your place of leadership.

“There is still the youngest,” Jesse replied. “But he’s out in the fields watching the sheep and goats.“Send for him at once,” Samuel said. “We will not sit down to eat until he arrives.”. (1 Samuel 16:11 NTV)

Run to your place at the King’s table!

Think about it:

What has prevented you from fulfilling God’s purpose in your life?
What are you waiting to take your place at the King’s table?
What distractions do you have to get out of the way to access all of God’s blessings?
