The same way

THE SAME WAY
Part 1

When I urged Titus to visit you and sent our other brother with him, did Titus take advantage of you? No! For we have the same spirit and walk in each other’s steps, doing things the same way.(2 Corinthians 12:18 NLT)

How refreshing it is to see that someone has learned the good things about you and that you can trust that they will do things the same way as you, well done.  One of the most important things for a leader is to replicate or duplicate himself in other people.

Leaders at work, in sports, and in church sometimes prefer to do things themselves because they can’t find someone to do it with the same excellence.  That stunts the growth of any organization or team.

Jesus taught his way to twelve disciples.

Paul taught his ways to Titus, Timothy, and others he could trust.

That’s why I have sent Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord. He will remind you of how I follow Christ Jesus, just as I teach in all the churches wherever I go.
(1 Corinthians 4:17 NLT)

To be continued…

Think about it:

Who are you multiplying into?
Who is learning the good things from you?
Could your children continue what you are doing in the same way?
