DON’T DEVALUE YOURSELF

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9 NKJV)

How important are the children of God to Him? Look how God calls us:

1. Chosen generation. 
It’s the same as chosen people.
It tells me that I am special to God. He chose me, I am not forcing God to accept me. He chose me, brought me to this earth, and gave me a purpose.
I am not an accident in life, I have a purpose, and God has blessing plans for me.

2. A royal priesthood. 
It’s the same as being a king’s priest.
I don’t serve any common person, I serve the King Jesus Christ. What a privilege!
Many people boast of working for a big company, or for some famous person, artist or athlete (kings in sports), but what a privilege I have to serve the King of kings!

So, don’t devalue yourself. You are very important and valuable to God!
