Quickly we forgot

QUICKLY WE FORGOT

Yet how QUICKLY THEY FORGOT what he had done!
They wouldn’t wait for his counsel!  (Psalms 106:13 NLT)

1. Forget.
I think that, on this occasion, forgetting doesn’t mean the absence of memories or the inability to remember certain things and events.
Rather, here it refers to the attitude of ignoring those things that are on my mind, but I simply decide not to pay attention to them, I voluntarily decide not to bring them to present memory. I don’t want to consider them now.

2. Quickly
Sometimes I am quick to forget all the good that God has done for me in the past and that weakens my faith for present challenges.

3. What God had done.
I must remember much more all the good that God has done with me than the wounds that others have caused me.
When I forget what God has done, then……

Yet how QUICKLY THEY FORGOT what he had done!
They wouldn’t wait for his counsel!  (Psalms 106:13 NLT)

To be continued…

Think about it:
What have you decided to forget?
Do you remember in detail everything God has done for you?
How do you think it affects you to forget all the good things God did for you in the past?
Do you remember the bad things more than the good that He has done in your life?
