TO BRING YOU UP TO DATE

To bring you up to date, Tychicus will give you a full report about what I am doing and how I am getting along…I have sent him to you for this very purpose—to let you know how we are doing and to encourage you. (Ephesians 6:21-22 NLT)

How important it is to have everyone on our team informed of everything that is happening! That’s also called keeping them informed.

This applies at home, at work, in ministry, in business, etc.
People cooperate more when they are kept well informed and made part of the project.

You can’t over communicate.
Leaders must learn to keep people well informed about the development of the vision, so that we do not move forward by running over people.
Leaders must learn to be accountable voluntarily, because this keeps our hearts healthy when we are placed in places of authority and high influence.
For this reason, Paul was an excellent apostle and an out of the ordinary leader, he was an extraordinary leader.

To bring you up to date, Tychicus will give you a full report about what I am doing and how I am getting along. He is a beloved brother and faithful helper in the Lord’s work. I have sent him to you for this very purpose—to let you know how we are doing and to encourage you. (Ephesians 6:21-22 NLT)

Think about it:
How good a communicator are you?
Do you keep the members of your family or your different teams well informed about what you do or will do and how you’re doing?
Do you have a person you are accountable to?
