God’s Justice or Man’s Justice

God’s Justice or Man’s Justice

May the LORD judge between us. Perhaps the LORD will punish you for what you are trying to do to me, but I will never harm you.
1 Samuel 24:15 (NLT)

We live in an imperfect world, damaged by sin, where at some point we will all face situations of injustice. We may be criticized, offended, discriminated against, or treated unfairly. In those moments, pain and frustration push us to react, but the Word of God shows us a higher path: trusting in the justice of the Lord.

Choosing God’s justice over man’s justice guards us from impulsive decisions and allows us to live in peace. God does not ignore what we go through; He defends, rescues, and brings justice to those who trust in Him.

May the LORD judge between us. Perhaps the LORD will punish you for what you are trying to do to me, but I will never harm you.
1 Samuel 24:15 (NLT)

Think About It:

  1. In what recent situation have you felt that you were treated unjustly?
  2. Are you trying to bring justice on your own, or have you entrusted that matter to God?
  3. What practical step can you take today to rest in the Lord’s perfect justice?
