CHOOSE YOUR CONVERSATIONS
-There are conversations that are useless and unproductive.
– There are conversations that are not good nor bad, but they are superficial.
-There are conversations that are good and productive.
The good news is that you can choose which conversations you want to participate in.
You choose if you want to be known as the class clown or the studious student; as the joker who has bad grades and frequently gets into problems or as the wise student who knows how to get along with others, but is also a productive person on this Earth.
The conversations that you should choose are those that add value to you or the people who surround you.
Don’t be afraid to dismiss or redirect a conversation that is only making you waste your time with gossip or steal your peace, produce anger, sadness, or feelings of tragedy. Better yet, speak about things that produce peace, love, joy, faith, hope, and big dreams in God.
Think about it:
What kind of conversations do you often have: productive or unproductive?
Do the conversations you have add value to the people that surround you?
What can you do to avoid useless conversations such as gossip?
