It’s best to face the difficult things first

IT’S BEST TO FACE THE DIFFICULT THINGS FIRST

You need to know this and figure out what to do, for there is going to be trouble for our master and his whole family. He’s so ill-tempered that no one can even talk to him!”.
(1 Samuel 25:17 NLT)

Abigail was in danger due to the foolishness of her husband Nabal, but she decided to face the situation quickly to avoid worse things occuring.

Sometimes we don’t like the problems but it’ s best to face them.

1. It’s best if we realize it and have a chance to do something about it.  It’s best to find out about the problems, rather than ignore the situation. With the right information we can make the right decision.

You need to know this and figure out what to do, for there is going to be trouble for our master and his whole family.… (1 Samuel 25:17 NLT)

2. It’s best to make decisions. It’s of little use to ignore a problem and pretend it doesn’t exist. Problems are not fixed by ignoring them, they just get more complicated. You have to confront it and decide what to do about it to fix it.

You need to know this and figure out what to do, for there is going to be trouble for our master and his whole family… (1 Samuel 25:17 NLT)

To be continued…

Think about it:

Do you prefer to know the problem before it worsens or do you prefer to ignore it?
What decision do you have to make in order to immediately solve something?
