I will walk in freedom

I WILL WALK IN FREEDOM

I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments. (Psalms 119:45 NLT)

How can I walk in freedom?
What kind of freedom am I talking about?
You can enjoy physical freedom and not have mental freedom.
You could enjoy freedom in a democratic country but live with a mind filled with self-destructive thoughts.
You can have freedom from prison and not have freedom of expression.
You can have physical freedom, but not spiritual freedom.

In this verse it says that when I devote myself to know and keep God ‘s commandments then I wouldn’t know how to lead my life in freedom.
When I disobey God’s commandments I get into problems.
These problems enslave me, and in a way, they rob me of mental, emotional and potentially physical freedom when one can go to jail for committing major crimes.
That is what sin has done all along, enslaving human beings.
Therefore, observing and obeying God’s commandments will keep us in complete freedom.
I enjoy spiritual freedom because I am free from the consequences of sin.
I enjoy physical freedom because by obeying His commands I don’t commit crimes that would put me in prison.
I enjoy spiritual freedom, because his word brings me freedom from the bonds of demons.

I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments. (Psalms 119:45 NLT)

Think about it:
Are you walking in complete mental, emotional, spiritual and physical freedom?
In what area have you felt enslaved?
Do you know and obey God’s commandments?
What changes do you need to start making?
