Remember the promises

REMEMBER THE PROMISES

Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope. (Psalms 119:49 NLT)

1. What I constantly remember will determine my mood. Memories will make me feel good or make me feel bad. From what I remember, this is how I will feel. Therefore, I ask God to remind me of the promises he has made to me through his word.

Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope.
(Psalms 119:49 NLT)

2. God’s promises give me hope. …is my only hope. (Psalms 119:49 NLT) Someone said we can live 40 days without eating; 4 days without water; 4 minutes without oxygen; but, only 4 seconds without hope.

3. Gives me strengths to move forward. Your promise revives me;… (Psalms 119:50 NLT) Remembering God’s promises has an effect on my life that gives me new strength to move forward. We draw strength from weakness and our strength is multiplied.

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint
(Isa 40:31 NLT)

4. Comfort me. Your promise… it comforts me in all my troubles. (Psalms 119:50 NLT)

Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope. Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles. (Psalms 119:49-50 NLT)

Think about it:
What are you frequently remembering?
What do God’s promises produce in you?
What promise from God brings you hope, strength and comfort?
