Don’t lose hope

DON’T LOSE HOPE

“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?” (Jeremiah 12:5 NIV).

If you get tired and lose hope because of small problems, then you’ll never achieve success.

One of the greatest problems in leaders, marriages and relationships in the ministry are immaturity and a lack of emotional health. People are emotionally put down because they do not know how to process their problems in a constructive way, so they get offended.

We must learn to manage the tests we experience in our lives and learn to see them as stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks. Each problem we overcome will only strengthen our faith.

How will we be able to care for millions if we are not faithful with hundreds? How can God trust us with a business that has hundreds of employees if we don’t have the patience, wisdom and community with a small group of individuals in a House of Peace? How can my boss give me a promotion if I am always complaining about the insignificant position I have now?

God has a plan with you, but the great achievements won’t happen overnight. In fact, all the tests we go through are part of the process to reaching those goals. Don’t be disappointed, learn to enjoy the journey and you will see that soon your dreams will come true even better than you expected. Just cling unto God, because without Him we are nothing and we can do nothing.

“If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?” (Jeremiah 12:5 NLT).

Think about it:

What are the goals you want to achieve?
What tests in your life do you need to start seeing as stepping stones instead of stumbling blocks?
