Like a child, even if there is COVID-19 – Part 2

LIKE A CHILD, EVEN IF THERE IS COVID-19
Part 2

Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 18:2-3 NLT)

Yesterday we learned that in order to have access to the kingdom of God we need to become like children and that a child listens to what their parents say and are innocent and trusting.
What other characteristics does a child have?

1.A child easily forgives.
Perhaps you’ve experienced that if you correct your child in the morning, they don’t wait two to three days to come close to you. Many times, in five minutes they come to tell you “daddy I love you”. Something similar occurs in marriage, things are fixed in five minutes, right?

A child still has the incredible ability to appreciate colors, smell, the sounds birds make, and even shapes in the clouds.
They aren’t worried about the coronavirus, temporary financial problems, politics, or sports.

Children are not filled with anxiety wondering if there will be food in the refrigerator next week. They know that mom and dad will make sure he has roof, bed, and clothes.

A child does not have the stress of adults and can look with joy at the colors of nature. They can dirty their clothes with mud or soda and laugh at themselves. Play with the dog or cat. They sleep soundly at night and wake up smiling.

Similar to the lifestyle you’re living, right?

Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 18:2-3 NLT)

Amid the Coronavirus pandemic A child believes this news:Tell the godly that all will be well for them.”… (Isaiah 3:10)

Think about it:

What can I do today to be more like a child?
Is it easy for you to forgive? Who do you have to forgive?
Have you been able to enjoy a family and sleep peacefully trusting that God is with you?
